March Builders Council

Join us at the Builder’s Council meeting on Friday March 1st as guest speaker Brad Smith (Project Manager with the city of Fort Collins) will be presenting details of the new energy code adoption.  

Brad and the city of Fort Collins have acknowledged the needed partnership between the city and it’s builders and he is excited to start the conversation on where the city is headed with it’s new energy code adoption, which coincide with the national mandates that are being pushed down by Washington.  

Brad acknowledges the challenges ahead of implementing the energy code adoptions from the legislative body and wants to engage with builders on how to create the process moving forward.  

Join us and bring your questions, comments, concerns, as we dive into the of energy code adoption and attainable housing.  

Brad is looking to establish a stakeholder group of represented builders and officials to help guide energy code implementation at a local level.
